Alice is a student in her 2nd year of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Manchester. She has always been fascinated by science since she was in secondary school. During sixth form, she took part in the British Biology Olympiad and received the silver award. The challenges it presented were intriguing. Alice realises the importance of industry because it is where science has real-life application and helps many people. Inspired to make a difference to the community, Alice have volunteered in the past. Now, as an events associate for Innovation Forum, she hopes to make a positive impact while learning more about how science is implemented. In the future, she aims to complete a Master's, but is still considering whether to pursue a PhD or enter industry.
