Tasneem is a recent graduate from the University of Manchester. She studied a four-year BSc Biochemistry with Industrial/Professional Experience programme and has a year of experience working with an In-Vitro Diagnostics R&D company. Working for a year in the industry has shown Tasneem just how much more expertise beyond scientific knowledge is required to launch biotechnology innovation into the market, and she was most fascinated by this pipeline. Tasneem decided to volunteer with the Innovation Forum to become part of the Innovation Forums Manchester team to work together with like-minded people with a similar interest in the market who she can learn a lot more from, to gain new insights from up-and-coming innovation start-ups eager to introduce their creative ideas into the market and as well as to network with professionals with experience dabbling in the market. Currently, her areas of interest are patent law and data analytics in biology, pharmaceutical and healthcare.
